Welcome to vIISual.net
This site attempts
to provide resources for the configuration and troubleshooting of IIS,
ASP, ASP.net, SharePoint, Internet Explorer, Windbg, DebugDiag, and some other
Microsoft related technologies. It tries to do this in a very visual
way with lots of screenshots.
The only contributor to this site is me, Chris Haun. I
worked on the IIS support team at Microsoft for several years and
now am a SharePoint PFE with Microsoft. Most of the blogs in
this site were adapted from instructions I gave one of the customers
I was working with. I've got a blog on MSDN (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/chaun/)
that I occasionally post on as well. But this site gives me
more flexibility in what I can do.
But be warned that
some of the stuff
here is out dated, unrefined, or in need of update.
There might even be a few
mistakes here and there.
Sorry but I don’t do a lot of maintenance to the site.
If there is something you'd really like to see updated or added to this
site, or some correction or improvement you'd like to suggest, you can email me at
viisual.net[at]hotmail[at]com. I apologize in advance
that I may not prove very responsive. This is a no-frills
website that I don't put a lot of time and soul into. I
maintain it just to keep some good information and some good tools
available mainly for the convenience of me and the people I help.
Always glad to hear that a few others are helped as well.
