IIS7.x:  How to Export a Server Certificate

Make sure you export the private key.  Otherwise you're basicaly working with half a certificate, not a full keypair.







Although this is not a security best practice, I like to give my pfx file a name that reminds me later what the password I chose was.






To import the certificate keypair onto another 2008 server, open the MMC, right click in the white open space of the personal store, select All Tasks and Import. . .
