Download and extract the zip file http://viisual.net/Tools/ETWTracing/ETW-tracing.zip

If you’re server is Win2003 on SP1 or SP2, you’re good to go. If however you are using Win2003 RTM, rename iistrace_rtm.txt to iistrace.txt.

Run IISRESET from a command prompt

Start tracing by double-clicking the iis6trace-start.cmd

Reproduce the problem and get the error message

Stop tracing by double-clicking the iis6trace-stop.cmd

A file named IISTRACE_OUTPUT.ETL file should be created. Zip this and send it to your support professional.
